This self-paced, online program equips you with real-world skills in strategic planning, project management, and leadershipβskills Chiefs of Staff use every day but are just as valuable for business ops leaders, project managers, and senior EAs.
I have been following the Chief of Staff role for years.
Namely, because I wish I had the super strength of these operational powerhouses. As a visionary, I'm the queen of ideas. But when it comes to executing on those ideas....let's just say I have other gifts.
So, what is the Chief of Staff role?
A business leader's right-hand and strategic thought partner. They focus on executing, organizing, and prioritizing the leader's biz initiatives. (source)
Their job is to maximize a leader's time and get sh*t done.
These leaders work on Culture, Ops, and Strategy (source)
Who is a good fit?
Good CoS come from a variety of backgrounds: Executive Assistant, Management Consultant, Ops Manager, Lawyer, Marketing Director, COO, Product Manager, Comms Director, Business Development Manager, etc.
Can delegate and are influential

High EQ
Excellent Project Managers
I'm super bullish on the potential of this type of role. Not only from a demand perspective (500% increase in job posts from 2017-2021) but what this career path can afford ambitious professionals like you.
Like $150k+ opportunities.
If you are a strategic thinker, want to make more of an impact, and love executing on big ideas - you should explore the Chief of Staff role.

Psst! Leave a review. Once you do, shoot us an email (hello@recruittheemployer.com) and we will send you a FREE copy of our Networking Template Guide that has 15+ scripts to non-awkwardly network with everyone from your Great Aunt Sally to that one hiring manager you've been dying to send your resume to.
So someone responded to your networking message
Now what?!
Here's how to not totally bomb the networking convo and make it a win-win for you (and them). β βDo NOT do this:β β Being unclear about what you're hoping to achieve in the convo β Not coming prepared β Talking too much about yourself β βI would do this instead:β β Set the agenda β Have 3-5 questions ready to go β Have a clear ask at the end (that's not asking for a job) β Ask THEM how you can be helpful to THEM
Networking is still the #1 way to land a job. And it's all about relationships.
This may feel like a long approach.
(But have those online job applications REALLY resulted in anything? Yeah, we thought not.)
Just as (I'm learning) in business - the non-scalable activities are most impactful.
And remember: People Hire People. Not Resume Pdfs.
